Personal light electric vehicles (PLEV) such as hoverboards, e-unicycles or e-skateboards become increasingly popular. In collaboration with several partners AGU investigates different aspects of these emerging road users. Their possible impact on traffic safety along with aspects regarding homologation and road infrastructure standards are addressed.
