A new impactor was developed for improved testing of ice hockey boards. The instrumented impactor is built of a steel tube covered with neoprene foam and filled with rigidly mounted steel ballast discs. Thus, the new device can be precisely specified and thus be included in a standardized ice hockey board test procedure.
